Balancing Act

Another art trade with with my good friend, TheDisney1901atDA(thedisney1901atda.deviantart.c…) featuring his version of Marilyn and Luna from the preschool series, Luna Petunia, on Netflix doing a little stability performance.

His original plan was for me to draw both of them doing a banquine act in the matter of Dragone's Quidam, but once I realized that I wouldn't be able to draw them in that position, I instead asked him to think of something more simplistic I could draw them in, and we instead with them doing the Tango. But later on when I was about to draw them doing this Argentinian dance, I soon realized, “Oh sh*t! I don't even know how to draw them in the perfect Tango position.” So once again, I had hit another speed bump in the trade. It wasn't until later that I started imagining Marilyn balancing Luna on only her index finger that the idea of the them doing a balancing act started to work itself out.

To TheDisney1901atDA: Forgive me if this illustration wasn't what you expected it to be. I really thought I could draw them doing the Tango together, but even that proved to be a challenge. It'll probably be a few more years before I can get to drawing characters in certain dancing positions. Again, I'm really sorry.
