Psycho Prodigy

For awhile I have been meaning to draw one of the characters from Marilyn's universe as Patrick Bateman, the yuppie and psychotic businessman from Bret Easton Ellis's novel, American Psycho, but was having a hard time deciding which character would go as Bateman as all of them seemed too adorable to goes as him, especially Marilyn as I could never picture her as the type who would dress up as someone so cruel and murderous as Bateman was in the novel. It wasn't until I looked closer at a few of the characters that I decided to go with Malinda Doe(nerdsman567.deviantart.com/art…), Marilyn's rival. She was the closest to the character as she is a snooty, stuck-up, rich girl, which is what Bateman's characteristics are in the book, well close to anyways.

•To Nerdsman567: Sorry to draw Malinda like this. Even though she my be a brat, I'm sure even she wouldn't stoop this low. The only reason I drew her in this position was because her characteristics were the closest to the character of Patrick Bateman. Again, I apologize. I really don't mean to offend or upset you in anyway.

*Side Note: The phrase that Malinda is quoting is reference to the iconic scene in the movie adaptation in which Bateman gives an abridged version of one of Huey Lewis And The News song, Hip To Be Square, to his co-worker Paul Allen just before killing him with an axe(m.youtube.com/watch?v=vzN3qO-q…).
